Dr. Ryan Demsky is a proud native of Berlin Center, Ohio, who graduated from Western Reserve High School in 2018 as a dedicated three-sport athlete competing in baseball, basketball, and football. Years of intense travel baseball and wearing cleats from a young age led to chronic knee and foot issues, which first introduced him to chiropractic care. After seeing a chiropractor and being fitted with custom orthotics during high school, he experienced life-changing improvements in both his athletic performance and everyday function. That experience lit a passion that shaped the rest of his career.
Dr. Demsky earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Youngstown State University in 2021, where he completed strength and conditioning internships that deepened his understanding of human movement and performance. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from D'Youville University in Buffalo, NY in 2025, receiving rigorous training in evidence-based chiropractic care, neurophysiology, functional rehabilitation, and nutritional strategies.
His clinical training spanned three respected private chiropractic practices, as well as the D'Youville Hageman School Clinic, Thrive Rehab and Wellness Center, and the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery Center. These environments allowed him to train alongside chiropractors, physical therapists, pain management physicians, and neurosurgeons, building expertise in both complex neurological conditions and everyday musculoskeletal injuries.
Now back home in Ohio, Dr. Demsky is proud to serve the Boardman, Canfield, and Youngstown communities through Demsky Chiropractic, located inside Rehab Unlimited on Boardman-Canfield Road. He is especially grateful for the support of longtime local chiropractor Dr. Thomas Yankush, whose generosity helped make this chapter possible.
